At home at Orenco Station: Tessera in the Platform District
Walk to everything you need.
Life is afoot at the Platform District, a new community within the Orenco Station neighborhood of Hillsboro that offers you easy walking access to restaurants, grocery, shops, local employers like SolarWorld and Intel, and is an easy ride on the adjacent MAX line rail to downtown Portland.
Stroll down the street to grab something hot and ready-to-go for dinner at New Seasons Market. Head to Salam Restaurant for a celebratory dinner out, or go to Orenco Taphouse and check out their newest Czech Pilsner or Imperial IPA on tap. Still hungry? Treat yourself to some frozen yogurt for dessert at the Savory Spoon.
Wake up on the weekend to find the freshest vegetables at the Hillsboro Sunday Farmers’ Market at Orenco Station. It’s an open-air market where you can spend the morning selecting heirloom tomatoes and basil or perusing the fine local arts and crafts—all set to the soundtrack of live music, too!
When you return to Tessera, swing by Starbucks on your way home. Or keep walking for an afternoon adventure; just around the corner is the MAX Light Rail Blue Line station so it’s a cinch to hop aboard and head up to Portland for the afternoon. Bring your bike to the city and tool around all day—but first have your tires checked at the Orenco Station Cyclery, located just down the sidewalk.
